Grapes are a fruit that contains anthocyanins.  As a result, it may decrease the risk of many diseases out there.  This includes eye disorders, diabetes, heart disease and obesity to name a few.

In brief, it is a great source of resveratrol.  Resveratrol is a phytoalexin, that means it is a protective antibiotic produced in plants.  As a result, this molecule helps to maintain health.

In fact, it is loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, magnesium, potassium and fiber.

In addition, they contain carotenoids which are linked to lowering cancer risk.

To sum up, avocados provide great compounds to help protect against inflammation.

Let’s cut out these inflammatory foods:

  • Refined carbohydrates: pastawhite bread, white rice, crackers, biscuits

  • Processed meats: beef jerky, hot dogs, smoked meat, bacon

  • Junk foods: fast food, potato chips, convenience meals, pretzels

Any inflammation which we experience on a regular basis can lead to disease.
