Stress Relief:  These days most people are very overstressed and can use some good coping skills to get through it.  Most of us are worried about our family and friends health.  Also, the stress of staying employed during these difficult times are quite rough.Here are some tips to relieve your stress:-  Take a walk –  Listen to some relaxing music –  Try some breathing exercises –  Help someone up, it will make you feel good inside

  2. Communicate with others:  Pick up a phone call a family member or a friend.  Show them your support and talk about the good times.  Isolation from people is not helping any of our mental health during these times.

  3. Nature walk:  Take a walk outside and enjoy the simpler things in life.  Some fresh air will benefit all of us and getting some exercise in the process can’t hurt as well.

  4. Show kindness:  Check up on our elderly parents or friends to see if they need anything.  It could be as little as picking up some groceries for them or medicine at pharmacy.  Remember, one hand washes the other, someday you will appreciate receiving the same act of kindness as well.  This is a great tip to follow during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    We should all do some reflection during this time of isolation.  Get back to the simple things in life.  Life shouldn’t be as complicated as we make it out to be.  I think we all should stop focusing on how things used to be and be realistic on how things are these days.  Our so called norm has drastically changed.  It could because of health issues or the social isolation in itself.  This is a time to re-focus our priorities and stay safe everyone!
